An award-winning design firm specializing in architecture, master planning & interior design. Operating in Egypt, Oman, and Saudi Arabia, INNOVATION Studio led recognized multi-cultural designs for diverse buildings and destinations. We aim to create value throughout our operational and business chain and provide integrated services varying from concept designs to technical illustrations and project implementations, inclusive of all master-planning, architecture, and interior design. We design for WELLNESS! Relying on well-being architecture, inspired by the art and science of designing built environments with socially mindful arrangements to promote the harmonious balance between physical, emotional, and mental well-being while restoring the natural environment. Throughout its 10 years journey, INNOVATION Design Studio, worked with key market players and developers in Egypt and the Middle East, in designing commercial, residential and business complexes including – but not limited to – Orascom Development, SODIC, The Ark Development, and Marakez in Egypt, in addition to partnering regional iconic developers such as, Emaar KSA and Orascom Oman.

D-Sign-Lab of Danné Ojeda / Interview by Lyudmila Favardin http://www.editionlidu.com/D-Sign-Lab-of-Danne-Ojeda-Interview.html Danné Ojeda / Short Biography Danné Ojeda is an Associate Professor in the School of Art, Design, and Media, at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Danné's work engages contemporary communication design, art practice, and theory. She has worked as a Professor of Art History at the Higher Institute for the Arts in Havana (1996–2000) and as a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Arts and Letters, University of Havana. She was a UNESCO research fellow at the Jan van Eyck Academy, Post-Academic Institute for Research and Production in Fine Art, Design and Theory, Maastricht, The Netherlands (2001–2003). She taught graphic design at the Modern International Art and Design Academy, Chongqing Technology and Business University, China (2006–2008). Furthermore, Danné has actively published, lectured on, and curated exhibitions related to contemporary art and design since 1995. In 2003, she founded d-file studio in Amsterdam, —a platform for concept and project development in the areas of visual art, design, and theory—, from which she has mainly worked for and collaborated with cultural institutions that include the Singapore Art Museum (SAM), the Centre for Contemporary Art Singapore, the National Institute of Fine Arts, Mexico, among others. Her design works have been amply recognised with the Chicago Athenaeum—Good Design Awards (US), the German Design Award, German Design Council (DE), Red Dot Design Award: Communication Design (DE), iF International Forum Design Award (DE), the ‘Lorenzo Il Magnifico’ International Award— Florence Art/Design Biennale (IT), A’ (A-PRIME) Design Award (IT), the International Design Award, IDA (US), among others. Her complete publication and exhibition design oeuvre commissioned by the Singapore Art Museum (SAM) was awarded Asia’s Top Designers Award, Singapore Design Award 2014. Thus, her works can be found in some of the most well-known museum collections worldwide.

Ali Moazzen comes from a family with a long-standing history in the eyewear industry. Their family business has been centered around the manufacturing and sale of glasses. Building on this legacy, Ali Moazzen, with his passion for history and culture, founded the Erthieh Cafe. This cafe, designed and styled with inspiration from vintage and traditional eyewear, creates a nostalgic atmosphere. Continuing this journey, he transformed the Erthieh Mansion, an old house, into a multifunctional space that serves as both a cafe and restaurant, as well as a cultural and social hub for the community. These projects have allowed Ali Moazzen to not only preserve and promote cultural heritage but also create a space conducive to social and cultural interactions.

Begum Karadag, the founder of Buruz, is an interior designer. The city where her father was born is home to a geographically indicated hand-woven art in Turkey. However, this unique weaving art was on the verge of extinction. Aiming to revive this art that had been forgotten in the depths of chests, Begüm Karadağ founded the brand Buruz, which means "to bring to light" in Old Turkish. Buruz Design brings a centuries-old art to the forefront while using sustainable materials. The wool yarns used in its products are dyed entirely with plants such as acorns and walnuts. The looms are made of oak and are not electric. While production is entirely traditional, the designs are created with modern homes in mind. Beyond preserving the craft, Buruz empowers local women.Begum Karadag, saw graduates from vocational weaving courses struggling to find jobs. By employing these women in her workshop, Buruz provides financial independence and social security for those who previously had none job.
